This is my Sequential Imagery project. I decided to do it on Marriage Equality, not only because the fight for it is dear to my heart but also because it is the civil rights movement of our generation. I really wanted to make sure that the fight for marriage equality isn't just a fight for marriage equality but is also a movement that wants equal rights for everyone. My background was originally going to be a rainbow honeycomb style but, quite by accident, the default brush that selected displayed in an almost fractal pattern and I accidentally clicked it and liked what I saw. I used the brush in different colors to represent the many different people and backgrounds involved in this movement.
Lastly the image of the female couple protestors was the one that took me by surprise when I found it, I loved it and decided to give it a soft, almost dream-like glow to represent what the movement is all about...love.
