Abuse PSA poster

This is my assignment for a class to do a poster. I chose to do a PSA poster about abuse. This project went through many different iterations and I finally settled on this one as my final copy. I felt that the blood on the fairytale book was a great way to pronounce the violence of abuse and the effect it has. The hardest part of this assignment was definitely getting the blood stains the way I wanted them to look...I went through a couple different styles and settings until I came to the faded out background with the blood as colored as an attempt to draw your eye to the blood immediately.
